Staten Island Elite Cheerleading began in May of 1996 and is about to begin its 15th season. SI Elite was the first all-star team formed on Staten Island. The program has earned over 30 National Champion titles, as well as numerous state and regional titles in various divisions including team, individual and small stunt group event.
The Elite cheerleaders are known as the *Gems*. They consist of the Rhinestones, Crystals, Rubies, Emeralds, Topaz, Diamonds and our 18 years old & older team - *Gemsation* .... that's quite a collection! These gems have had much success over the past 14 years due to the continued support and dedication of the team members, their families and the coaching staff at the Victory Gymnastics Center.
Victory Gymnastics Center is a 6,000 square foot fully air conditioned facility. We have 21' ceilings for safety, a mirrored wall, a break room with vending machines, water fountain, TV with VCR, refrigerator & freezer. Our equipment includes a 42' x 42' spring floor, 2 trampolines, 30' tumble track (into an above-ground pit), overhead spotting rigs, twisting belts, many other training devices (trapezoids, folding mats, incline, barrels & beams). Located in the Top Tomato Shopping Plaza, which provides convenient shopping such as Top Tomato Grocery, Nicole's Emporium, & FunStation USA. The parking lot has spacious parking and is easily accessible from all major roads!
You can also schedule your team for a custom made camp with the SI Elite staff and cheerleaders!! SIE has trained many school teams and beginner cheerleaders. SIE will hold stunt clinics, choreography camps or a basic cheer camp for you and your team!!
